Alkistis Kafetzi is a Berlin based filmmaker. She studied Theatre and Film and the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and since 2014 she lives and works in Germany. She has been a steady collaborator of the Institute for Experimental Arts and the theatre director Tasos Sagris since 2011, working as a video artist for their theatrical productions („Dying as a Country” 2012, "Psychosis 4:48" 2013, "Night" 2017, „Metamorfosis”2020). She made her directorial debut with the short documentary “Unterwegs” in 2016 which was screened at Tirana International Film Festival. The last five years her work has been shown in several film festivals and art exhibitions around Europe. She is mostly interested in documentaries and experimental films with a poetic approach.
